Teddi Mellencamp revealed she found “another melanoma” after her recent biopsy, and she shared she’ll have “surgery” next week. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum also reacted to Vicki Gunvalson’s latest Watch What Happens Live diss.
In the past, Teddi explained she was diagnosed with stage-two melanoma, and she discussed the importance of protecting your skin from the sun.
In a September 13 Instagram post, Teddi opened up about her latest journey.
“I have been debating whether I should even publicly talk about this or not but then I remember how every time I post about skin cancer someone else is reminded to get checked. I found out late yesterday afternoon that the most recent spot biopsied is another melanoma,” she wrote. “I can’t even remember if this is the 12th or 13th one.”
Teddi went on to say, “At this point, I am starting to black-out these memories like a portion of my childhood. I slept maybe 2 hours last night because my mind was racing. I am so grateful for my 3-month checkup because we caught this one early. This means another surgery next week and additional biopsies.”
She then expressed, “As I lay here with tears in my eyes and worry, I know my kids will be up soon. I have a podcast at 10. Life goes on. I am also reminded of my faith and the reminder I keep telling myself, ‘We can do hard things.’ We have so many beautiful things to look forward to, so if you woke up today feeling lost or scared, I encourage you to make a list of some of the things you are truly grateful for and what you are most excited about.”
Sometime before her post, Vicki shaded Teddi on Watch What Happens Live.
“I do not like her!” said Vicki at the time, via @byewighellodrama on Instagram, when asked how ‘annoying’ is Teddi on a scale of one to ten.
“Ten,” she answered.
Teddi then reacted on Instagram while responding to a fan who asked her to ‘be nice’ to Vicki.
“You get what you give,” wrote Teddi.
