Looks like Antonio Brown took a L in court after a Florida man accused the former NFL star of selling him a fake Richard Mille watch for $160K.
As we previously reported, Ryan Kane filed a lawsuit against Brown in Broward County alleging the NFL star finessed him on the sale back on July 27. In the lawsuit, Kane claimed Brown assured him the watch was allegedly an RM 011 model and it was real and said it had a value “in excess of $400,000.” Kane says he bought the watch because Antonio Brown assured him it was real so he wired the money to his company but come to find out the watch was indeed fake. One day, Kane took the watch to an appraiser to have it authenticated and appraised for insurance purposes, but claims the guy told him some bad news while he was there and he found out that the watch was worth only a couple hundred bucks.

Now in a new post on Instagram, Ryan Kane made the announcement that Antonio Brown was “found liable on all counts” today for selling him the fake watch. “AB your f******,” Kane said. “Today 9/18/2023 Antonio Brown was found liable on all counts regarding the fake RM watch case. I GET PAID TO BUY FAKE WATCHES #AB. The judge awarded me $170k plus 40-50k in attorney fees, damages, and interests. Made a cool 50-60 bands. Thanks AB u criminal POS. Btw I’m not done yet. Still the label case pending.”
As we all know, Brown has been in a lot of controversy over the years and this situation seems like another stunt by the former NFL player. Antonio Brown faced legal issues, including accusations of assault and battery. In 2019, he was accused of sexually assaulting his former trainer, Britney Taylor. Brown denied the allegations and countersued Taylor for defamation. The case was settled in 2019, but it remained a significant controversy. Brown’s behavior on and off the field has been a cause for concern. He had multiple confrontations with coaches, teammates, and team management during his tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Oakland Raiders (now Las Vegas Raiders). These incidents included disputes over his helmet and fines for missed practices. Not to mention walking off the field and taking off his equipment during the buccaneers game a few years back.

Antonio Brown’s career featured several abrupt and tumultuous moves between teams. He was traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Oakland Raiders in 2019 but was released by the Raiders before playing a regular-season game. He then briefly signed with the New England Patriots but was released after just one game. Brown later signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he played a key role in their Super Bowl LV victory, but has since been released from the team and now a rapper.
