Shannon Beador was reportedly “loud” and “complaining” about Alexis Bellino at a bar in Newport Beach prior to her arrest on Saturday.
According to a series of new reports, the Real Housewives of Orange County star, 59, visited the bar hours before her hit and run — and just one day after enjoying a night out with her supposed ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, who insiders claim she’s “definitely dating.”
Days after Shannon barreled into a duplex in Southern California, a woman in the home she hit spoke to KCAL News about the incident.
“We heard a loud screeching and a loud noise and we looked out the window and there was a car driving away after running into the house,” Gaby Noelle recalled. “We were just really worried for the person and then once we saw the car driving away, obviously we knew the person’s alive but how can they drive away from that with the oil spilling out of the car?”
Another person in the area said Shannon, who proclaims, “I call the shots and it’s always tequila,” in her RHOC tagline, was going “fast, very fast for a residential neighborhood.”
Shortly after the accident, which saw car parts left behind, Shannon was discovered about a quarter mile away by police, who arrested her after she was taken to a local hospital around 1:00 a.m.
Also speaking to the news outlet, Gaby, who lost a family member in a drunk-driving accident, said, “I hope people do not take this lightly and they don’t think it’s okay to get behind the wheel like that, especially since it’s someone with a platform.”
According to a report from Radar Online, Shannon’s mug shot has yet to be released because the Newport Beach Police Department has blocked a request for the photo on grounds that it is “investigatory privilege.”
“The request for any police reports, 911 calls, photos including booking photo, video including body worn camera and dash camera footage must be denied,” a form letter by the organization explained.
As for Shannon’s dog Archie, who was in the vehicle at the time of her DUI, police Spokesman Sgt. Steve Oberon told the outlet, “If there was a dog and the dog was injured, we would’ve gotten help for it and animal control would have been called. So, I imagine the dog is fine.”
Another insider told Radar Online that Shannon and John, who allegedly split in November of last year but have continued to be seen together, are “definitely dating.”
As Jeff Lewis, 53, confirmed earlier this week, Shannon and John were together on Friday at Nobu, where eyewitnesses told Radar they showed off their chemistry.
“No kissing,” one insider explained, but they were “affectionate.”
Meanwhile, a separate source confirmed they are together, despite Shannon’s denials on Watch What Happens Live last week.
“They are definitely dating,” they shared.
As for the hours leading up to Shannon’s arrest, she was seen at a venue called A Restaurant, which is about half a mile from where her accident occurred, with friend and business partner Steve Muller earlier in the day.
According to an eyewitness who spoke to TMZ on September 19, Shannon seemed to be tipsy as she exhibited loud and boisterous behavior and took a photo with a fan while also “b*tching” about Alexis, who was also at the restaurant.
“When my girlfriends and I arrived for a fun night out together, it was soon brought to my attention that Shannon was also at the same restaurant,” Alexis recalled of their time at A Restaurant on Saturday. “Shannon and I did not interact that night, but it greatly saddens me to learn that she may harbor negative feelings or resentment toward me, as I was not involved in Jim Bellino’s lawsuit against Shannon.”
“From one single mother to another, I wish Shannon nothing but the best as I know she is facing trying times ahead,” she added.
As RHOC fans may recall, Alexis’ ex-husband, Jim Bellino, filed a $1 million defamation lawsuit against Shannon and Tamra Judge, 56, in 2018, accusing the women of trash-talking his business on Heather McDonald‘s Juicy Scoop podcast.
