Mauricio Umansky is set to shake his groove thing on DWTS but it turns out ABC also wanted Kyle Richards & Morgan Wade to join the S32 cast.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills staple Mauricio Umansky has officially joined the season 32 cast of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars but we are now learning that ABC also wanted to hire Mauricio’s wife Kyle Richards and her good friend/rumored lover Morgan Wade.

According to TMZ, DWTS producers really wanted to hire Mauricio as well as Kyle and Morgan for season 32 of DWTS to capitalize on the recent interest in their relationship.

Kyle, Morgan, and Mauricio were all reportedly approached at the same time about joining season 32 of DWTS. Kyle and Morgan passed on the opportunity while Mauricio signed on for the upcoming season of the dancing competition. He will be partnered with professional dancer Emma Slater.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG is currently in Paris shooting a documentary about Morgan’s life. There’s also been chatter about them looking “very intimate” in public.

Meanwhile, Mauricio is in Los Angeles, practicing his dance moves in hopes of taking home the DWTS’ mirrorball trophy.

Mauricio and Kyle are still in a good place despite the ups and downs in their marriage. They are reportedly separated but still living under the same roof.

“You know, we’re hanging in there, we’re working through all of our things, which everybody knows about, and we’re just taking it day by day… I can tell you we are both happy,” he told Entertainment Tonight earlier this month.

“We’re trying not to let the press influence us and all of the social media and all of the stuff that’s going on,” Mauricio added. “So we’re trying to just ignore that and figure that ourselves.”

Turns out Mauricio also has nothing but love for Morgan Wade as well.

“I love her,” he told TMZ. “Yeah, she’s great.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is reportedly returning to Bravo for season 13 in late 2023. Some reports suggest season 13 will premiere on November 1.
