Heather Dubrow appeared on Wednesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she reacted to Shannon Beador‘s DUI and hit-and-run arrest and was asked about her castmate’s relationship with John Janssen.
While also looking back at the events of the finale episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, commenting on the antics of Tamra Judge, 56, and sharing her “rose and thorn” of season 17, Heather, 54, revealed if she would do anything differently now that she’s watched the entire season play out.
“No,” Heather confirmed on the September 27 episode of the WWHL: After Show. “I would not have done everything differently, I mean, there are moments where I’m like, ‘I’m so stupid. How did I not see everything that was coming my way?’ But you know what? It is what it is. It’s all a learning experience, and no, I wouldn’t have done anything differently. I think I was just myself, and you either like me or you don’t.”
On the live broadcast of WWHL, she shared her thorn of the latest episode.
“I’m gonna say the thorn for the season was really feeling like everyone was coming after me and [I was] gaslighted a lot and trying to be self-actualized. It was very hard for me,” she explained.
As for the rose, she continued, “How could I not say selling our house?”
When a fan of the show called in and wondered if Heather was “truly done” with RHOC when she left the show in 2016 at the end of season 11, Heather confirmed that despite her ultimate return, she was finished at that time.
“I don’t think I’ve ever said that before: Yes,” she stated.
Moving on to the finale, Heather denied Tamra’s claim of “rallying the troops,”
“There’s a lot of irony in a lot of these questions tonight. Rallying? I mean, I think just explaining,” she noted.
She also said that when it comes to the ongoing suggestion that she labeled her castmates “losers,” she “actually never called anyone a loser.”
“That’s not in my vernacular. I don’t speak like that,” she clarified. “What I was saying was, Tamra and I had a conversation last year when I came to the show and she said I was giving interviews saying, ‘Oh my gosh, what a great cast,’ she goes, ‘Oh please.’ And I go, ‘Look who they gave me to play with’ as evidence that a couple of our cast members were only one-season cast members. I didn’t call anyone a loser. That would be rude. So if it came off that way, I’m very sorry.”
According to Andy Cohen, 55, Heather seemed to have it coming from her co-stars at the circus party thrown by Gina Kirschenheiter, 39, on last night’s show.
“It was crazy,” Heather agreed, signaling to the behavior of Tamra. “When Tamra came up to me and she’s like, ‘We were gonna go out and you never came back,’ I was like, ‘I was hammered. I fell asleep. Were you worried I was aspirating? Did I hit my head?’”
As for Gina saying she doesn’t mean to offend but is good at it, Heather said she found herself “dumbfounded” on a number of occasions.
“I have to say, there were so many things said on the show this season that I was present for and heard later that I was dumbfounded by and it took a lot of time to really you know… sit with,” she admitted.
Throughout the season, Shannon and John’s relationship was a hot topic. And often, Heather was accused of leading the ongoing conversations about their relationship. However, according to Heather, it was actually Tamra who said the most.
“If you go by what you saw on air, I think Tamra,” she stated.
When Heather was then asked what she thought about Shannon and John’s date, knowing he dumped her soon after, she refused to say a word.
“I’m not allowed to talk about their relationship,” she reasoned.
Heather also said that while she hasn’t spoken to Shannon post-DUI, she “did text her.”
“I’m glad no one was hurt. That’s the most important thing and I hope that Shannon continues to take some space and figure out her next steps,” she shared, prompting Andy to wonder what Heather feels should be Shannon’s next steps.
“I mean, we don’t have time for that,” she stated.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 reunion begins airing next Wednesday, October 4, at 8/7c on Bravo.
