Mauricio Umansky may have sparked rumors of a romance with actress Leslie Rae Bega last week as they enjoyed a post-Dancing With the Stars meal with his parents. But apparently, it isn’t Mauricio who is dating The Agency employee. Instead, it’s his dad.
After a photo of the foursome featured Leslie with her arm around Mauricio at Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills, a new report confirmed Leslie is seeing Eduardo Umansky, who is also an employee at Mauricio’s real estate firm, as Mauricio dished on his DWTS-prompted weight loss.
“I got back from Italy and this workout, I’ve lost a lot,” Mauricio admitted to E! News last week. “Like 13 or 14 pounds in a month, so it’s awesome.”
As viewers have seen in recent weeks, Mauricio has shown off his new body on the dance floor, even dancing with his shirt wide open during his salsa on last week’s Latin Night.
Luckily, his stepdaughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, and daughters Alexia Umansky, 27, Sophia Umansky, 23, and Portia Umansky, 15, weren’t offended.
“My daughters are so supportive, they are loving it,” he laughed. “I’m 53 years old and not bad for 53, man. So, you gotta show it.”
Also speaking to E! News, Mauricio said that when it comes to his relationship with estranged wife Kyle Richards, 54, they are continuing to fight for their marriage.
“We’re trying to keep it private, but at the end of the day we’re not private people,” he explained. “We’re public figures and the reality is we are separated right now. We are going through a really difficult time. It’s been a struggle. We are not ready to throw in the towel. We are still working on our marriage and we’re not in a rush.”
As for Eduardo and Leslie, TMZ shared on October 9 that the couple was on a date Il Pastaio with Mauricio’s mom, Dr. Estella Sneider, when Mauricio joined them midway through their dinner.
While Kyle did not attend Week 2 of DWTS, Mauricio told Page Six that her absence was due to work commitments relating to the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“She was filming her confessionals today, so that’s why she couldn’t be here today,” he shared.
Dancing With the Stars season 32 airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+.
