Brittish Williams of Basketball Wives LA has officially been sentenced to four years in federal prison, showing how she’s paying the price of her series of fraud schemes.

FBI Agent Slams Brittish Williams As “A Typical Fraudster”

The U.S. Department of Justice acknowledged the situation in a statement on Tuesday (Oct. 24). Within the press release, officials noted that the former reality star’s schemes raked in a whopping total of $564,069.

During the sentencing, Judge Henry E. Autrey reportedly chastised Brittish by declaring, “You knew what you were doing. You knew it was wrong and you did it anyway.”

As for FBI St. Louis Division agent Jay Greenberg, he said, “Brittish Williams was getting paid to portray her celebrity lifestyle on Basketball Wives when in fact she was a typical fraudster. After today’s sentencing, her reality is now a life of a felon.”

From avoiding $29,366 in taxes from 2017–2019 to submitting $139,479.92 in fake medical bills to an insurance company, Brittish Williams was apparently on her scammin’ grind — at least in the eyes of the U.S. government.

The Former Reality Star Pleaded Guilty To 15 Federal Crimes In May

Brittish’s official sentencing comes about five months after she pleaded guilty, as The Shade Room reported.

Specifically, Williams took legal accountability for 15 federal crimes, ranging from misuse of a Social Security number to wire fraud.

After this development, she took to social media to share a message with fans, which you can peep down below.

“I hope my story, journey, and my growth can help someone going through something similar or stops the next person from doing anything that could possibly have them in the same situation as me. I am not ashamed, I am not phased by comments nor opinions. I am proud of the woman and mother I am TODAY.”

Now, Brittish Williams has been sentenced to four years in prison. Additionally, it’s worth noting that someone in her camp apparently got it poppin’ with a bystander recording outside the courthouse.
