Bachelor in Paradise season 9 welcomes Canadian Bachelor Nation star, Samantha “Sam” Picco, to the beaches of Mexico, and there’s a lot to know about her. Before she walked down the steps to the beach, she told host Jesse Palmer that she was beyond excited to join a cast of people she’d never met. She warned that she wasn’t going to play nice. She was there to shake things up and go for what she wants. Sam declared that she usually gets what she wants.
Sam arrived on the night of a Bachelor in Paradise rose ceremony, during which the women were handing out roses. Many of the men, including Sean McLaughlin, Aaron Schwartzman, John Buresh, and Peter Cappio pulled her aside to speak to her because she was their only hope to stay in Paradise. Sean was especially determined to get her rose, but she thought that he was too young for her. In the end, Sam gave her rose to Peter.
