TroyBoi has returned with yet another one-of-a-kind release, joining forces with viral “BILLIE EILISH.” rapper Armani White for “Shut Shit Down.”

Out now by way of his very own T Dot Music imprint, the new track leans into hip-hop by virtue of White’s lyricism and fierce flow as TroyBoi masterfully blends in his signature trap and bass style. Together, the two tastemakers deliver a gritty and anthemic banger fit for any dancefloor or festival.

In an intimate interview with EDM.com earlier this year, TroyBoi opened up about his Chinese, Indian, Nigerian and Portuguese roots, explaining how cultural influences can bring richness to electronic music. And in true TroyBoi fashion, his new tune features a compelling interplay of Japanese-influenced vocals.

Take a listen to “Shut Shit Down” below and find the new track streaming platforms here.

“I was first introduced to Armani back in 2015 when I heard a remix he did of my track ‘Do You?'” TroyBoi explained in a statement shared with EDM.com. “I was so impressed with his flow and delivery. We connected soon after that and became a fan of his work ever since. When I made the beat for ‘Shut Shit Down’ I knew it needed someone on it with a charismatic energy and a crazy flow. I sent Armani the track, he loved it and absolutely delivered like I knew he would.”

Fans can catch TroyBoi in Austin this weekend, where he’s performing at Freaky Deaky alongside Alison Wonderland, Knock2 and Zeds Dead, among others. Then he’s off to Las Vegas next weekend for ARKADIA before an 11-show tour, “SHUT **IT DOWN,” to cap off the year.
