At the beginning of the year, Jhariah shared his Beginner’s Guide To Luck & Liability EP. Now, the Brooklyn eccentric is back with a video for his new single “EAT YOUR FRIENDS,” which features Baltimore punk crew Pinkshift.

The wildly catchy song explores how his friends are often pitted against one another, igniting jealousy and competition rather than creating space. The video captures that sentiment well, showing scenes of the artists throwing punches and fighting over the microphone. “You feel like there’s so little to go around,” Jhariah says. “I’m a very competitive person, but also, I don’t want to be in competition with my friends. I want to be doing this together. It’s a very tricky thing.”
