Beatport, the go-to online music store for DJs, is launching Beatport Connect: LA, a one-day summit at the W Hotel Hollywood.

Aimed at emerging artists, labels and industry pros, the event aims to spark collaboration and innovation in electronic music. As part of Beatport’s global Connect series, the event underscores the company’s mission to strengthen local music ecosystems and “help the global electronic music industry grow in a more inclusive, sustainable and collaborative way,” according to CEO Robb McDaniels.

“Los Angeles has long been a creative and strategic hub for Beatport, it’s where many of our team are based, and where our connection to the electronic music community runs deep,” he said in a press release. “With Beatport Connect: LA, we’re not only investing in the future of the scene but also creating space for emerging artists, labels and professionals to build meaningful connections.”

Attendees can expect discussions on AI in music production, navigating the attention economy and combating burnout, among other timely topics. They also get exclusive access to sunset networking drinks on the hotel’s lavish WET Deck and a late-night Beatport Live event at The Loft, produced alongside Insomniac Records.

The initial speaker lineup includes SOFI TUKKER, DJ Minx, Billboard Dance Director Katie Bain and EMPIRE’s Moody Jones, among other industry figures. More names and programming details are forthcoming.

Beatport Connect: LA is scheduled for September 26th, 2025. Tickets are on sale now, with 50% of proceeds supporting MusiCares, the nonprofit established by the Recording Academy that provides health, financial and rehabilitation support to music industry professionals.
