In new photos obtained by TMZ on Tuesday, The Whole Nine Yards actor was spotted out on the town for a bit of lunch — in the company of a mystery woman!

The Friends star, who can be seen in a black shirt, sat across from a pretty brunette woman who sported a blue shirt and white pants. It’s unclear if it was a date, but both looked very casual as they dined at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. See (below):

The source told the outlet that Matthew was so engrossed in conversation with the mystery gal that he hardly even touched his food… Who would have known that this would be one of his last interactions?
And that poor woman must be in such shock…
This is all the more heartbreaking amid the recent scoop from his barber, Pierre Johnson Jr., who said he “wanted to be with someone,” but had a hard time finding “anybody that he could trust.” He was looking for love up until his final moments… How sad that it didn’t work out with his ex-fiancée Molly Hurwitz. Heartbreaking.
