Friends of Jennifer Aniston are reportedly worried about her following the death of co-star Matthew Perry, sources told Page Six.
It is reported by an industry source that the actress has taken the passing of her long-standing co-star very hard. Aniston and the four other remaining cast members of Friends together mourned the loss of Perry at his funeral.
“Out of the remaining five, Jen and Courtney [Cox] are reeling the most, and Jen is probably the one who is struggling most acutely,” said the source.

“It’s a second massive loss in less than a year, with the one-year anniversary of her dad’s death just around the corner. She still hasn’t fully regained her footing from that, and now this has just completely knocked her off her feet.”
This is in reference to the passing of John Aniston, her father, who starred on Days of Our Lives, and died in November 2022, at age 89.
“She is trying to regroup and recover but it’s been a completely devastating blow,” the source explained. Aniston is understandably devastated by the loss of her friend, seen breaking down in tears during a 2004 interview at the thought of losing him.
Aniston and Perry appeared to be great friends, with him explaining in a 2022 interview with Diane Sawyer that “She was the one that reached out the most. You know, I’m really grateful to her for that.”
She was also revealed to be the cast member who was first to confront him on the set of Friends when his addiction started to become noticeable to the cast and crew.

In conversation with This Morning’s Hollywood reporter Sam Rubin and hosts Craig Doyle and Rochelle Humes, revealed that Crosby spoke with Perry about his acting career, saying it was something he was excited about.
“Not only was he okay, but he was happy and he was doing great. He was sharing with me that he wanted to start his own foundation and to help people through recovery. He also wanted to get back on screen and be an actor again,” the model said in the TV interview.

“I’ve heard some really crazy theories about what possibly transpired and I’m really just here to clean all of those things up and say I was a friend and I’m here to defend his reputation. He was sober and he was clean. His behaviour was amazing,” she shared.
The family of the beloved actor shared a statement last week confirming his passing, writing: “We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love.”
