The 2024 Grammy Awards nominations were announced on Friday — and women in music absolutely dominated the list, including the top 3 categories. For Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year, female artists made up seven out of the eight nominations in each category.

SZA leads with the most nominations out of all the artists recognized, earning nine, including noms for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. Victoria Monét and Phoebe Bridgers follow with seven, with six of Bridgers’ noms coming from her work with boygenius. Behind Monét and Bridgers are Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, and Jon Batiste, with six nominations each.

Meanwhile, one of Swift’s nominations broke a Grammy record. The pop star was nominated for Song of the Year for her hit, “Anti-Hero,” which marked her seventh nom in that category, making her the artist who has received the most nominations — ever — for Song of the Year.
