October 10, 2023: Bindi Irwin has officially put rumours of tension between herself and Rorie Buckey to rest with a single Instagram post.
Sharing a selfie of her family – taken by Robert Irwin – to her 5.5 million followers, Bindi wrote a lengthy caption shouting out each person pictured in the happy snap.
“This group right here ❤️ Grateful for every moment shared,” Bindi, who can be seen hugging her two-year-old daughter Grace Warrior Irwin Powell in the photo, began.
Bindi first shouted out her brother, writing: “My brother, [Robert] taking the selfie – The extrovert of our family, hilarious, and definitely on a giant non-stop adventure in life.”
She then wrote sweet messages to her husband Chandler Powell and their daughter, as well as her mother Terri Irwin, and Australia Zoo staffers Luke and Mitch.
It was her message to Buckey, however, that fans zeroed in on.
“My brother’s gorgeous girlfriend, [Buckey] – Sweetest soul, beautiful friend, I love her dearly and you’ll usually see Grace just following her around because she adores her,” Bindi wrote of Buckey, who can be seen in the snap cuddling up to Terri.
Buckey replied: “You’re the best ❤️ I love you lots! 🥰”
