I’ve got a couple of pretty cool trailers here for you to watch for an upcoming sci-fi action film titled EONII. This is the first sci-fi film ever to come out of the African country of Tanzania, and it looks like a seriously impressive movie!
The movie is set in the distant future and the story follows a lone scientist who “makes a breakthrough discovery, called EONII, that may save the Nation and the Continent. Forces in the shadows begin to surface. Lies, Betrayal, Politics, and War, all to decide one thing, who should control the power of the EONII?”
The movie comes from director Eddie Mzale, who said in a statement: “I am actually happy to be part of this because you feel you are part of that movement that inspires people to think outside the box.”
The style and tone of the film are a fusion of traditional Swahili culture with futuristic concepts with cool-looking advanced tech and robots. There’s no US release date set yet, but watch the trailers below and tell us what you think!
