The Real Housewives of New York City cast reunited over the weekend — without Jenna Lyons.
Weeks after Jenna, 55, fueled rumors regarding her potential departure from the Bravo reality series by skipping the BravoCon fan convention in Las Vegas, Sai De Silva, 42, shared a photo of herself enjoying a group meal with castmates Erin Lichy, 36, Brynn Whitfield, 36, Ubah Hassan, 40, and Jessel Taank, 43.
“The cackling hags club,” Sai captioned her November 19 photo, giving a nod to shade Jessel threw at her and the other women amid season 14.
After Jenna skipped BravoCon earlier this month, she spoke to Entertainment Tonight, explaining that she “had some things to do.”
“I had an event and I had some other things that I had to do that were personal. And I’m preparing for — I have to leave tonight, I have to be on a flight so I just couldn’t. It didn’t work out.”
Days later, during an interview with Hollywood Life, Andy Cohen, 55, addressed Jenna’s absence from BravoCon, stating that while there “is a narrative in the press” that she won’t be returning for the next season of RHONY, they hadn’t “had any serious [conversations]” about the new episodes.
He also discussed the matter on his Andy Cohen Live radio show last week, insisting that her failure to attend BravoCon signaled to her exit from Bravo.
“[It was] not any great statement on her relationship to the show or with us … We have a great relationship and I hope she comes back,” he stated.
As for Jenna’s castmates, Sai confirmed at BravoCon that Jenna couldn’t make the event due to another commitment as Brynn said Jenna was actually “in bed with her girlfriend [Cass Bird].”
“I got a selfie this morning. She’s very happy,” Brynn added.
No word yet on when filming will begin on The Real Housewives of New York City season 15.
