A former Taco Bell employee is suing the company after witnessing an alleged orgy during a holiday party at one of the restaurants.

The incident occurred at a San Pedro restaurant that was operated and owned by the Colorado-based franchisee Alvarado Restaurant Group last year. Alana Bechiom, her sister, and her sister’s partner attended a Christmas party that was hosted by her supervisor Lidia Ruiz. Bechiom said she noticed the restaurant’s windows were covered with wrapping paper and her co-workers were reportedly served too many drinks during the pot-luck style party as reported by TOO FAB.
She added that around midnight, she noticed her male coworker having sex with his wife in front of everyone at the party, and his wife also kissed Ruiz and another female coworker. Bechiom said she was disgusted by the entire situation and ran out of the building, but when she returned to get her guacamole bowl, she found Ruiz throwing up into it.

Other workers were throwing up into a garbage can. Bechiom reported the incident, and Taco Bell’s HR fired the workers involved in the orgy, including Ruiz. They retaliated by smashing her window and her former coworkers were accused of sending her text messages by calling her “stupid n f**ked up” and “slut”
Bechoim accused Taco Bell and the franchisee of not doing anything about the alleged threats and responded by “transferring her to a new location rather than disciplining the employees who threatened her.”
She also allegedly reported the threats to the Los Angeles Police Department … and later quit her job because she was “so overcome with significant stress, physical and mental illness and anxiety from the hostile work environment.” Bechoim also quit her job at Taco Bell due to the amount of stress, physical and mental illness, and anxiety from the toxic workplace.
It is unknown what she’s seeking in damages, and Taco Bell said in a statement that they are taking the claims very seriously.
