Kaley Renae Medina,26, visited her 61-year-old sugar daddy around 2:30 a.m. to ask him for the money, and weeks before the attack, Medina went out with the victim after meeting him on the website SeekingArrangement.com. Authorities said she showed up at his home unannounced, but the victim decided to let her in for some wine. Moments later, he started to talk about her criminal history, which included intoxication assault, felony-level DWI, and aggravated assault on a security guard as reported by the Daily Mail.

The victim said Medina went into a “frenzy” which included destroying a flat-screen television, the victim’s entertainment center, and a painting, as reported by the Daily Mail. She also poured detergent on his head, which caused the victim to become blinded and sustain burns.

Before leaving the home, Medina stole the victim’s passport, iPhone, a surveillance camera, and a Dyson hair dryer, among other items. The victim was transported to a local hospital after he ran outside for help and received treatment for chemical burns to his eyes and cuts on his legs.

Seeking.com, formerly known as SeekingArrangement, was founded in 2006 by Brandon Wade. It is an American online dating service that facilitates relationships between wealthy older men and attractive younger women. The site has been controversial since its inception, with some critics arguing that it promotes prostitution. Seeking.com has also been accused of exploiting its members, particularly its female users.
