RHOP cast member Mia Thornton has been through quite a bit recently.
As fans know, Mia announced in late September that she and Gordon had separated. However, like most parents who split up, the two are focusing on co-parenting.
In fact, Mia even took to social media to give an update recently. Not only that, but it seems Mia has also moved on to someone new as she and her ex work to ensure a fun and healthy environment for their kids. The couple had been married since 2012.
The holidays are in full swing, which means lots of our favorite reality stars are posting their celebrations. Mia took to Instagram on Thanksgiving to show off her day with her children and her Ex Gordon.
In the Instagram reel, fans can see the RHOP star preparing their Thanksgiving meal, the kids happy and playing, and Gordon seems to be taking it all in and enjoying the moment.
People in the comments seemed to be supportive of their co-parenting style as well. For example, fans can see RHOA alum Porsha comment and say, “That’s how you doing ❤️.”
Of course, some fans in the comments were confused as they expressed how happy they were to see Mia and Gordon “back together.”
Beyond celebrating Thanksgiving, the RHOP star seems to be at a happy place in terms of dating. US Weekly caught up with the RHOP star recently at BravoCon and noticed she was wearing a new ring which sparked some engagement rumors with her new beau. Mia explained the ring by saying, “There is someone special that’s on the horizon. I am committed.”
The publication asked for clarification about the ring perhaps being a symbol of commitment, and Mia said, ” Yes. I’m not available. So don’t come in my DMs.”
Mia then went on to speak about Gordon.
“We are separated, illegally separated, and it’s going to take time to get a divorce.” She also shared that Gordon was “not so happy” about her moving on, but also said that “everyday gets easier.” The RHOP star also stated that Gordon is dating himself and that the two are focusing on co-parenting.
Though Mia and Gordon got married in 2012, they first met in 2003. They have two children together, Jeremiah and Juliana. The kids are 8 and 6, respectively. Of course, the family has been featured on the hit Bravo show.
