A brand new teaser for Agatha: Darkhold Diaries has been released. The footage gives fans their first look at the upcoming WandaVision spin-off for Disney Plus.
Despite being originally set to come out in 2023, before quietly being pushed to next year, Marvel has kept a tight lid on the upcoming Disney Plus series Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. However, it seems the silence has finally been broken, with a brand new teaser for the spin-off being released on the Blu-ray disk for WandaVision, highlighting the amount of effort put into the production.
The teaser doesn’t show much about Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. While fans do get brief glimpses of Joe Locke and Aubrey Plaza in their mystery MCU roles, most of the footage hypes up the passion WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer feels for this Disney Plus spin-off. Hopefully, with this footage now out in the aether, Marvel will release an official trailer soon!
Who else is attached to the Agatha Harkness series?
Agatha: Darkhold Diaries is a spin-off series of WandaVision and revolves around Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness. The show is being developed by Jac Schaefer, who served as head writer and executive producer of WandaVision. Schaefer was also one of the writers behind the hit Marvel films Captain Marvel and Black Widow.
Besides Kathryn Hahn, Agatha: Darkhold Diaries also stars Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caulfield, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman, Kate Forbes, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman and Kate Forbes. Jac Schaeffer, Gandja Monteiro and Rachel Goldberg are directing the series.
In addition to Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, another spin-off series focusing on The Vision is also currently in the works at Marvel Studios. With multiple spin-offs in development, WandaVision fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming years.
