Glassjaw have a new 30th anniversary box set on the way, dubbed The Playable Collection, along with an 88-page, 12″x12″ book.
The Playable Collection includes new vinyl pressings of all three Glassjaw full-lengths — 2000’s Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence, 2002’s Worship and Tribute, and 2017’s Material Control — along with 2011’s Our Colour Green and Coloring Book EPs.

Each LP comes in its own jacket, and all five are housed in a durable corresponding, numbered slipcase. The Playable Collection is available as two sets —one on black vinyl with white jackets and one on white vinyl with black jackets. Each set is limited to 1,993 copies.
The book is an oral and visual history of the people and places that influenced Glassjaw, which the band put together with our friends at BrooklynVegan and Revolver. The book is largely set in 1993, the year Glassjaw formed. It features archival photos of iconic NYC scenes and locales from the 1990s, as well as archival photos of Glassjaw themselves and current photos of Glassjaw artifacts, like the doll from the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang cover and the turntable from the Worship and Tribute cover. The photos are interspersed with interviews with some of Glassjaw’s biggest influences, collaborators, and former members, including Walter Schreifels (Quicksand), Gavin Van Vlack (Burn), Tommy Corrigan (Silent Majority), Arthur Shepherd (Mind Over Matter), Julian Vasquez (Stillsuit), Don Fury, and more.
The book is also available in two covers — a black edition and a white edition — limited to 993 each, and there’s a gold hardcover edition, also limited to 993. There’s also The Deluxe Playable Collection, which pairs gold vinyl variants of each record with a gold hardcover edition of the book, and that’s limited to 500.
