RHONJ’s Melissa Gorga continues to throw shade at Jackie Goldschnieder amid their recent falling out while filming season 14. Get all the tea!
On the November 9th episode of Melissa Gorga’s On Display podcast, the 44-year-old fired shots at her former good friend and RHONJ co-star Jackie Goldschneider.
While chatting with guest Erin Lichy of the Real Housewives of New York and the idiosyncrasies of filming a reality show, specifically Real Housewives, Melissa revealed that she has major issues with co-stars who jump ship/friend groups to get more screen time.
Erin noted: “And the other thing that really sucks is, like, seeing, and I won’t name names, certain people that will, like, gravitate towards the one who, like, is more popular in that episode, like, that is really wack.”
This comment from the Real Housewives of New York star resulted in Melissa Gorga ranting about one of her RHONJ co-stars. Many fans believe Melissa’s rant is about Jackie Goldschneider.
The RHONJ star said:
“It’s so it’s so wack. It’s so annoying. You know, but you know what? I will say that I agree with you. I have we definitely have people on our show who, If they’re starting to feel. Especially this season, if they’re starting to feel less than or, like, they’re not getting enough airtime of some sort, they’ll just gravitate the complete other way because they’re like, well, this will get me airtime. And it’s the most frustrating thing when it comes to housewives, but I think that’s what makes the show go around also.”
As RHONJ fans know, Jackie fell out with former besties Melissa Gorga and Margaret Josephs while filming season 14.
Throughout filming season 14 of RHONJ, Jackie became close with former enemies Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin. Oddly enough, Jackie’s up-and-down relationships with Teresa and Jennifer blossomed into genuine friendships.
In recent weeks, Margaret and Melissa have shaded Jackie’s budding friendship with Teresa.
At BravoCon, Melissa and Margaret weighed in on Jackie and Teresa’s new-found friendship.
“Jackie and I are not where we used to be in life; we’re not where we used to be, which is sad,” Margaret Josephs said during part one of the RHONJ panel at BravoCon.
“She informed me that we were not as close as we used to be. I think I took offense to that, and things went a little south,” she continued. “She has a nice case of amnesia.”
Melissa chimmed in:
“I love Jackie; we’ve been friends forever, but a lot of things came out of left field… It’s confusing for me. I don’t know how authentic she’s being about her new decisions in life. Everyone needs to remember who their friends are when they’re down, not just when they’re standing back up.”
The mom of three also believes Jackie created drama with Margaret for attention and more screen time throughout season 14 of RHONJ.
“I think that sometimes people feel like they need to ruffle feathers to make a splash — and it’s unfortunate,” the On Display podcast host said.
“You need to stay authentic to your true self, and I think she’s looking for rumblings, trying to throw things out there and seeing if they stick,” she continued. “And God bless.”
