We are FAMILY! RHOBH alums Kathy Hilton and Kim Richards prove there’s no bad blood between them and brother-in-law Mauricio Umanksy.
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s recent separation may lead to divorce, but either way, the two have made it clear that they will ALWAYS be family. And it seems like RHOBH alums Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton feel the same way.
Amid Kyle and Mauricio’s shocking split, Kim and Kathy have nothing but good things to say about their brother-in-law.
The sisters of RHOBH spoke to E! News at Kathy’s recent Christmas party, where they discussed holiday plans and family.
“I have never said a bad word about Mauricio. I don’t know anything bad about him,” Kim said at the Christmas event. “He is an amazing dad, amazing father and that’s what I can say. The way his girls love him and the way he loves his girls.”
Kathy concurred, adding, “It’s all about the children for them.”
Speaking of the RHOBH couple’s children, the two were able to put their martial issues aside and spend Thanksgiving together with their four daughters:
“It wasn’t very stressful,” the RHOBH star said. “Mauricio and I get along very well. Obviously, it is a difficult time, but we have never been a couple that fights. My kids have said they have literally never heard a fight between us in their entire lives.”
“It’s something I am very proud of,” Kyle continued. “We live under the same roof. We had all our friends and kids, everybody seemed happy. Is it ideal? Probably not. It is traditional? No, but it’s working for us.”
As Kyle continues to chart unfamiliar territory in her marriage, she is grateful for the support of her sisters, especially during the holiday season.
The RHOBH OG, who has often had rocky relationships with her older sisters, is glad to be on solid ground with her sisters heading into the festive season.
“For me, that was the hardest part of having ups and downs with the holidays because we grew up in a house that was filled with our family and everybody cooking and music. So, missing that was honestly the most painful part when we’d have our issues. To be together all again it feels really good. It makes the holidays much more special,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Kyle and Mauricio continue to prove they are a united front despite their separation. The RHOBH couple posed for a sweet holiday photo with their daughters while enjoying some festive activities in Los Angeles.
