Every day Wordle puts out a new word puzzle to be solved, and today’s one is fairly simple. There is a classic trick being used in today’s answer that could slip a player up if they’re not careful. However, the commonality of the word, mixed with the popularly used letters, shouldn’t cause too much trouble for most fans of the game.
Wordle is a simple word-guessing game that consists of a single five-letter word that must be deciphered. To do this, players guess a random word and are given Mastermind-style hints based on the letter’s correctness and position. Players are given six possible chances to solve the word before failing. The simple gameplay and excellent social media sharing ability have pushed Wordle into the homes of many players all around the world.

Today’s Wordle Answer
December 7th #901
The December 7th Wordle answer is SLEEP.
Nothing too difficult for today, for our starting Wordle word we used POUND. This only provided a single ‘P’ in the wrong position and a chunk of incorrect letters. Moving forward we tried CHAPS as our second attempt which helped add another incorrect letter with ‘S’.
Moving the two letters around we tried SPERM as our third guess and locked in the ‘S’ as well as a new vowel ‘E’. This also provided the only possible location for the ‘P’ to go so assuming they used a double-‘E’ we tried STEEP as our fourth guess. This proved us correct with the double-letter and set us up for an easy Wordle win-in-five with the correct answer, SLEEP.
