The season of the Real Housewives of Potomac might be off to a slow start, but there is at least some drama that has people talking. Dr. Wendy Osefo and newbie Nneka Ihim are having some pretty major issues.
Of course, a few episodes ago, there were claims of voodoo on the part of Wendy and her family. This turned into both ladies saying they didn’t know each other before filming the show. Then, Wendy took to social media to leak text messages to show that Nneka did know her and even wanted to get dinner together. Now, not only is Nneka responding, but the so-called unedited text messages have been released.
To backtrack, Wendy released text messages between her and Lebe, who is Nneka’s cousin-in-law. The text messages show that Lebe was trying to put together a dinner. She also says that Bravo had approached Nneka about being on a show. However, the text messages never explicitly say that Nneka wanted her in-law to set up the dinner.
Now, Nneka is responding to the leaked text messages. To her, this proves that Wendy does, in fact, know her from before filming. She also points out how the texts in no way say that she wanted to meet with Wendy.

Not only does Nneka respond to the leaked text messages from Wendy, but the TV Deets account has the unedited version. Though the new text messages don’t change very much, fans can see that the conversations between Wendy and Lebe were more extensive than she originally stated.
Of course, the parts about Lebe wanting to get a BBL are still there. However, the biggest difference is that Lebe asks about where Wendy stayed in the Bahamas. Wendy answered the question but did so in a matter-of-fact way. By reading the texts, you can ascertain that the two aren’t friends. The other major difference is after Wendy asked Lebe for proof that she bought her book, she sent a screenshot of a shipment.
Of course, some fans in the comments feel that these new text messages reveal something significant. However, it can be argued that they don’t. It seems like Wendy is, at most, familiar with Lebe and maybe even Nneka. The problem is that there is nothing here to change the argument one way or another. It is a bit concerning that Wendy would post cropped text messages, but this seems like someone may be reaching for a storyline on the show.
