Monica Garcia’s Mom Denies Sabotaging Family Reunion

Monica Garcia’s mom, Linda Darnell, is denying accusations that she “sabotaged” her daughter’s reunion with family in Bermuda! Get all the deets!

During the RHOSLC season 4 cast trip, Monica Garcia broke down in tears when she learned that her family in Bermuda didn’t want to see her after previously agreeing to meet up for a reunion.

Monica Garcia blamed the change of heart on her mom, Linda Darnell‘s meddling and insisted that she sabotaged the previously scheduled meet-up with extended family in Bermuda.

After the episode, many RHOSLC fans questioned if Monica Garcia even had family in Bermuda, causing the 40-year-old to clap back on social media.

Linda swiftly commented on Monica’s post and naturally made it all about herself.

“Are you also going to tell the truth about me not having anything to do with them backing out? Don’t just tell half the truth; tell the whole truth, so help you God,” Linda commented.

The RHOSLC newbie clapped back at her mom’s comment while calling out Linda’s need for public attention.

“Linda, I called you tonight. No answer. But I see you’re available here. On an app. Where the world can continue to see this dysfunction. At that time, I did believe that you had something to do with it. Which I told you, on the phone, a couple of days ago. You then talked to me and showed me texts, and we cleared it up, and now I know.

However, that does not take away from what I felt and thought happened at that time. I was blindsided, and I felt humiliated and embarrassed, and crushed. However, I still have no idea what happened and why they backed out. There you go, your name is cleared.

You could have gone to Twitter and confirmed we have family there since people aren’t believing that, but this is important too. Anyways, I hope you can sleep better now since I have told the whole truth. So help me, God, and I’ll take all the help from God I can get right now.”

Days later, Linda shared her theory on what happened between Monica Garcia and her family in Bermuda.

Linda insists that she never sabotaged Monica’s meeting with her family in Bermuda and says they probably wanted nothing to do with RHOSLC.

“Here’s what I think happened with Monica and our family in Bermuda. Yes, we have family there–my cousins and my uncle. I did not sabotage the meeting. I would never do that. Bermuda is a very small place. Everybody knows everybody. Everybody gossips about everybody. I think my family heard gossip about all the fighting going on with these ladies and wanted nothing to do with the show. Or they found the Bravo contract to be too much. Either way, I don’t blame them one bit. #RHOSLC,” Linda tweeted.

She continued: “Don’t start blaming me for Bermuda. She could have visited them off-camera. She could have told them where she was staying, and they could have gone to visit her. Do not blame me!! Enough with this shit.”
