Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for the biopic Bob Marley One Love. The film focuses on the legendary musician and the message of peace and hope that he was trying to convey through his music. It also includes the challenges that he faced over the course of his career.
The movie was directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (Joe Bell, King Richard) and written by Zach Baylin, Frank E. Flowers, and Terence Winter. The movie stars Kingsley Ben-Adir (Peaky Blinders, Secret Invasion) as the famous musician and Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel, No Time to Die) as Rita Marley, Bob’s wife.
The movie “celebrates the life and music of an icon who inspired generations through his message of love and unity. On the big screen for the first time, discover Bob’s powerful story of overcoming adversity and the journey behind his revolutionary music.”
Bob Marley’s son Ziggy Marley said in a statement:

Filmed in England and Jamaica the cast and crew represents one of the most unique creation to ever come out of a Hollywood studio.
It “authenticity fills the screen with numerous Jamaican actors doing us proud in representing the culture. Filmed at the actual places where Bob walked , played football and sang like Trench Town and Bull bay in Kingston, it is an artistic creation that we are proud of and want you to enjoy to be entertained but also to be inspired.
