A video is surfacing on social media of parents attempting to motivate their daughter to lose weight by gifting her with Slim Tea for Christmas. After the video made rounds on social media and the footage was obtained by TMZ, people are extremely upset with the way the parents handled this situation.
In the viral video the young girl can be seen being excited to open her gift to only find out that inside the package was slimming aid to help her lose weight. While the young girl was staring at the box questioning what the gift was her older siblings seemingly knew what the gift was and looked at their parents like they were disgusted. Of course after going viral, folks on X formerly known as Twitter had a lot to say about the video. “What’s extra diabolical about that little girls present being slim tea is that it’s from the people who feed her and raise her. Like let’s assume she has an unhealthy relationship with food, she’s barely 10 years old, she won’t know better than you the adult. I feel sad for her,” one X user shared.
Another person on X chimed in on the viral video and said, “That video of that baby opening a “gift” of slim tea has really pissed me off. Putting her trauma on display like that is just inhumane. Can’t imagine how alone and misunderstood she must feel. For most of the ridicule to be from her own family is just…no words smh.”
