#Socialites, are you here for it? Gypsy Rose Blanchard is still wanting to partner with Kim Kardashian on her prison reform movement.

According to TMZ, sources close to Blanchard have told them that upon being released from prison herself, she is open to working with Kardashian and even wants to gain some advice from the socialite-turned-lawyer. Apparently, she believes that she and Kardashian would make a good team because of her experience with the justice system and Kardashian’s previous and successful work on prison reform.
Sources told the website that Blanchard thinks Kardashian could also offer her some guidance on how to navigate within her newfound world of social media, where she really wants to use her voice and fast-growing platform to make real change in the world and advance her work in advocacy.

Now, this isn’t the first time that Gypsy Rose Blanchard has placed her bid to work with Kim Kardashian. Back in November 2023, while she was still in lock-up, Blanchard posted a tweet directed at Kardashian. She had offered her gratitude, thanking her for recommending an HBO documentary about her case. A few years ago, Kardashian highlighted Blanchard’s 2017 HBO doc ‘Mommy Dead and Dearest‘ on a list of true crime documentaries that she shared with her millions of followers.
Blanchard said, “Thanks @KimKardashian for the shout out within this list to my 2017 documentary ‘HBO’s Mommy Dead and Dearest.’ Maybe we should unite forces together to make real change within the justice system. #KimKardashian GypsyRoseBlanchard #TrueCrime #InspireChange.”
Since Blanchard’s recent release from prison, a new docu-series, ‘The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard,’ is now set to air as a three-night event on January 5-7 at 8 PM ET on Lifetime.

Since reaching out to Kardashian on X (formerly Twitter), sources close to the recently freed inmate told TMZ that she has not yet reached out to Kardashian about her ask, nor has Kardashian reached out to her. However, the site reports that “the door is open for them to get together in the future.”
Despite critics accusing Gypsy Rose Blanchard of being desperate for attention, sources said she genuinely wants to leverage her platform to initiate real change and advance prison reform. It just so happens that Kim Kardashian is one of the few people that Blanchard follows and has already had much success with advancing the initiative.
