Social media users are sharing their reactions after NBA Youngboy opened up about fatherhood during a recent interview. As The Shade Room previously reported, the 24-year-old rapper welcomed his tenth child with his wife, Jazlyn Mychelle, in September 2022.
The pair tied the knot in January 2023, per The Shade Room. However, since then, reports have surfaced alleging the rapper welcomed an 11th child with a different woman in April of that year.

NBA Youngboy’s Comments On Fatherhood
The 24-year-old rapper sat down for an exclusive interview with Bootleg Kev, published via YouTube on Monday, January 8. About two minutes into the interview, Kev asked Youngboy to share “how important” fatherhood is to him.
“Um… I’m not really big on it, to be honest,” he replied.
Kev explained that he perceives the rapper to be a “family man.”
“Yeah, but I’m only in here ’cause you here,” YoungBoy told Kev.
To note, the interview appeared to take place at the rapper’s residence, inside his living room. Additionally, one of Youngboy’s sons was also present for the discussion.
“See this crazy topic ’cause I’m not the type to sugarcoat nothing. But I’m four walls all day, every day,” the rapper explained, referring to his love for recording music in the studio.
Youngboy then clarified that he does “bond a lot” with his children. However, he spends most of his days “stuck inside one room.” The rapper explained that he “wouldn’t say” he’s “going through a lot.” But being “alone in his thoughts” is his way of “staying sane.”
During the conversation, NBA Youngboy also revealed that he’s been smoking cigarettes since the age of seven and shared his thoughts on possibly recording a joint project with Rod Wave.

More Details Regarding Recent Reports On NBA Youngboy & His Current Time On House Arrest
According to Blavity, NBA Youngboy allegedly welcomed his eleventh child in April 2023. The rapper reportedly shared the milestone with an Instagram model named Drew Valentina.
To date, neither NBA Youngboy nor Valentina have confirmed that they welcomed a child together. Additionally, no recent photos of an infant appear on Valentina’s Instagram account.
However, an Instagram highlight on Valentina’s account confirms that she was expecting a child in December 2022.
As for NBA Youngboy, the rapper was placed on house arrest in October 2021. The decision came after he was arrested on drug and weapon possession charges the month prior, per The Shade Room.
In February of 2023, the rapper explained that being placed on house arrest was “the best thing that ever happened” to him.
“Can’t be on top forever, you know. It’s always gon be another artist, but there will never be another YoungBoy. I will not be provoked, I will not be broken and I’m not going back to who I use to be. Accept it or not, I ain’t going back… When I walk out this door, it’s gon be a whole lot of doing,” he told Billboard.
According to XXL, the rapper’s trial for the drug and weapon possession charges is expected to begin in July.
