As the flight took off, the passenger used the bathroom, expecting a routine experience. However, while attempting to exit, he encountered a lock malfunction that prevented the door from opening. The unfortunate flyer was effectively trapped inside the lavatory, enduring an unexpected and uncomfortable situation for most of the flight. The crew and other passengers desperately tried to free him, but their efforts proved unsuccessful, as reported by the New York Post.
The flight crew also left a note for the passenger as he remained trapped inside the bathroom: “Sir we tried our best to open the door, however, we could not,” the letter read. “Do not panic. We are landing in a few minutes, so please close the commode lid and sit on it and secure yourself. As soon as the main door is open, an engineer will come.”
