Alexis Bellino Faces Backlash for Posting Pic of John’s Dog

Alexis Bellino hasn’t been on The Real Housewives of Orange County for quite some time. However, the former star has stayed in the news quite a bit regarding the reality TV world. Most of this has to do with the fact that she’s now dating John Janssen, who previously dated Shannon Beador. Now, Alexis is being dragged across the internet for a recent Instagram post. 

For context, Shannon and John broke up in November 2022 after more than three years. However, news broke of him being in a relationship with Alexis one year later. Additionally, it has been reported that Alexis might be joining the show again, which could lead to lots of drama with Shannon. 

The latest is that Alexis took to Instagram to post a picture of Banks, who is Janssen’s dog. She posted the picture alongside a caption professing her love for Janssen as well as discussing her 47th birthday. 

Unfortunately for Alexis, the comments on the post were not nearly as flattering as she probably expected them to be. Of course, many people pointed out the fact that viewers already met Banks through the show when John filmed with Shannon. Not only that, but some people felt that Alexis wanted attention from the post and that she should be embarrassed.

One Instagram user had this to say:

“The amount of 2nd hand embarrassment that I have for this woman is tremendous & so so cringy. 😱”

Another chimed in and said this:

“Seek respect, not attention 🤮🤮.”

Finally, someone said what everyone was thinking:

“Why do I feel this is more about Shannon than Banks??🤔 cringe!”

Alexis also celebrated her birthday with John and her kids, and she shared a photo on her Instagram Stories with the caption: “The absolute fav part of my bday celebration (just missing J’s kiddos) ❤️❤️❤️.”

She also shared another post from her birthday, writing: “Living a life forever young. Thank you to all who made it amazingly special, especially my kiddos. Feeling loved, grateful and blessed. Love you all!!! 💞💞💞💞💞💞.”
