With the ongoing housing crisis, people are turning to social media to share their strategies for navigating the situation. The internet has seen everything from unusual rental listings to influencers buying homes. But TikToker Graim may have devised a new “hack” to tackle the housing crisis. In a TikTok video, he shared how he bought a tiny home directly from Amazon for $32,475 using a zero-interest credit card. He plans to place it on a part of his 13-acre plot. Graim explained that he aimed to create a decent-sized space to generate monthly residual income. He aims to bring in over $800 a month by renting out the tiny home for $750 to $800. He even expressed his desire to build a tiny home community on his property to generate more revenue, according to Dexerto.
“You can get one as low as $18,000. I wanted to get one that I could try to make into a decent-sized space where I could get some residual income coming in monthly. The goal is to bring in over $800 a month, $750 to $800 a month. I think we’ll be able to do that easily with this.”

What surprised Graim was that he found the tiny home on Amazon at a better price than other options he had considered. He shared his excitement about the quick delivery, mentioning that someone would need to be present to sign for it.
Opinions on the tiny home varied among viewers, with some criticizing Graim’s plan and the price of the house. One person found the $30,000 price tag for a shed outrageous. Another questioned the additional costs for setup, electrical work, plumbing, and permits. A third person wondered how everyone seemed to have $30,000 available and how they could obtain that amount.
However, not everyone had negative feedback. Some expressed interest in doing the same if they had the money, while others mentioned their plans to buy a tiny home and place it in their parent’s backyard.
