Monica Garcia revealed her strange encounters with Whitney Rose and Heather Gay at BravoCon – which took place after Monica’s falling out with the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast.
In the latest season, Monica’s position in the group imploded when Heather discovered her Reality Von Tease account: a ‘troll’ page that exposed Jen Shah and shaded castmates. At the reunion, both Whitney and Heather suggested they could never be friends with her again.
“All of a sudden Whitney comes and sits by me,” said Monica of her BravoCon experience in a video shared by @hayleymiller7, via @byewighellodrama on Instagram. “It’s like when you see your ex, [like] what’s happening?”
“She was so nice,” Monica went on. “She was like, ‘Look whatever we have going on, I want you to know, like she was so sweet.”
But Heather was a different story.
“Heather sees [our conversation] from across the room, gives [Whitney] the big middle finger and a slit across the throat,” she said, miming the gesture.
“Because how dare she talk to Monica?” said Monica sarcastically.
In a January 23 interview, the showrunner for RHOSLC revealed that Monica won’t immediately return next season.
“The women just need a cooling off period, and I think it’s just too soon,” said Lori Gordon, speaking to Variety. “They’ve articulated it. It’s too soon for them to reenter into a friendship — a trusting friendship. Not enough time has passed.”
