Jeremiah Fennell is hard at work making a name for himself in sports reporting at the age of 11!

The young reporter recently asked Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and other NFL stars some hard-hitting questions about the Super Bowl and football in general during Opening Night of Super Bowl week.

While watching and listening to Fennell interview some of the biggest star players of the Super Bowl, it’s easy to forget he’s only 11. His questions are well thought out and he has a professional vibe that’s undeniable.

Fennell had the opportunity to interview Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, and asked some impressive questions. During Fennell’s introduction, Kelce called him, ” a sharp gentleman” and “very well spoken.”

Fennell’s first question for Kelce was about his touchdown celebrations and if fans can expect any surprise celebrations after his first touchdown in the Super Bowl.

“I gotta start thinking about it. I haven’t thought about it quite yet,” Kelce said. “Who knows, maybe during the red zone period in practice, I’ll test out a few.”

Kelce then turned it around to ask Fennell what he would do as a football player, to which he responded, “I really just do a spike. I don’t really try to do any crazy celebrations.”

The 11-year-old journalist’s next question was about Patrick Mahomes and the chemistry between the two.

“We hang out a lot as friends,” Kelce said about his teammate. “So that way, I know that when I’m in the huddle with him and he’s looking at me to do something better and dig a little bit deeper if I’m tired, we have that respect and that mutual friendship to want to have it that much more for the guy next to us, man.”

Next topic was about why the team respects Kelce and Mahomes as leaders. Kelce explained it’s about the “hard work and determined mindset.”

And of course, Fennell couldn’t leave Kelce’s brother Jason out of the chat. While talking about Jason’s possible retirement from the NFL, Fennell asked if he began reflecting on his retirement.

“I’ll tell you what, I think it’s still up in the air whether or not he’s gonna continue to play football,” Kelce said. “And I love coming into the building and playing this game more than anybody, man and I know I’m gonna miss it when it’s over with so I can’t put a timestamp on it, but I know I’m gonna enjoy every bit of this one.”

Fennell’s last question for Kelce was all about the fun he’s having while visiting Las Vegas.

“Last year we celebrated the Super Bowl win by going to the Wynn and going to Club XS. You can’t go to that yet, but maybe one day,” Kelce said. “It’s a lot of fun, but I don’t think anything will be more special if I find a way to win this one. It’ll be the most special win yet.”

Fennell has some fun while interviewing Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

“So, you know what’s crazy? I had a whole list of questions I wanted to ask you but now that I’m up here on the podium, I don’t even want to ask them anymore,” Fennell said. “Because let’s be real. This is your fourth time going to the Super Bowl which means that this is fourth opening night event. And if you look around, all of these reporters waiting to interview you, I want to have a little fun first before all the chaos begins.”

He then told Mahomes he wanted to build a fantasy team with a few simple rules. First rule, both will have Mahomes as the quarterback and second rule, you can’t pick anyone that’s on the current Chiefs roster, but you can choose players who are current or all-time players in the NFL.

The two then picked their teams and bonded during the process over their choices. At the end, Mahomes told Fennell, “You got a great team, man. I ain’t gonna lie to you. You have a great team, so I’m gonna give you the win.”

Fennell told a little bit of his backstory during a recent interview and The Score shared it in a video on TikTok.

“Well, I started to do this at the age of 7 years old because I wasn’t able to play sports due to some medical issues, but I still like the sports environment, so I decided to hone my craft of journalism at the age of 7 and I started my YouTube channel,” he shared. “And yes, I do think that I can keep this as a career because I do still love the sport and I do know a lot about it, so I think that interviewing people could be a long career for me.”
