An individual rushed the field at Super Bowl LVIII before stripping off his shirt and running around half n-ked.
The Kansas City Chiefs are taking on the San Francisco 49ers during Super Bowl LVIII — but they had a bit of an interruption during the second half when an individual ran out onto the field and took off his shirt, before he was tackled by security.
Social media had a field day with the streaker, with many sharing videos to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
“A streaker just ran onto the field here at the Super Bowl,” one user wrote.

He was eventually taken down, with some saying he was “blown” up security.

NFL fans got a kick out of the incident, as one user wrote, “In a game where people are paid to tackle people….There’s always someone who tries this….”
Another said, “Why pay $7k for your seat then do that?” referencing the insane pricing for the first Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
Although the video is going viral, it was not acknowledged on CBS, which one user pointed out. “Immediately came looking for a video since the announcers ‘can’t talk about it’,” one fan said.
It was later reported that there was not one, but two streakers. “Two individuals rushed the field during the third quarter of Super Bowl 58 and nearly interrupted a third down play for the Kansas City Chiefs’ offense,” per USA Today.
“Referee Bill Vinovich stated that because the streakers did not impact the play – a 2-yard completion from Patrick Mahomes to receiver Mecole Hardman that was short of the sticks – there was no need to redo it,” their report continued. Harrison Butker, the kicker for the Chiefs, hit the 57-yard field goal on the snap after the streakers rushed the field.
It is unclear at this time whether the streaker was advocating for a cause or was just an individual who got a bit out of hand.
