Here’s What Porsha Williams Said

On Tuesday, February 13, Williams took to Instagram to share a video with fans. In the clip, she rocked a yellow blazer and wore her hair in a sleek, buss down middle part.

“Who said that? ‘Porsha Williams coming back to Real Housewives of Atlanta?’ That’s false,” she said in the clip. “But Porsha Guobadia is in the building — see ya!”

Additionally, the caption on Williams’ post read:

“Season 16 Lets Gooooo 🍑 #Rhoa

Are y’all READY?! 👑😘🤑”

According to Deadline, Williams has signed an overall scripted talent deal with NBCUniversal Entertainment amid signing on for the 16 season of Bravo’s ‘RHOA.’ NBC’s official website notes that the company owns the Bravo brand.

Entertainment Tonight adds that Williams will “exclusively collaborate” with NBC Universal on scripted projects.

Furthermore, Williams reportedly shared an exclusive statement regarding her recent deals.

“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family,” she stated, per Deadline. “I’m looking forward to being back on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ and showing the world my new world!”

Rachel Smith, the Executive Vice President of Unscripted Content, Lifestyle, and Documentaries at NBCUniversal Entertainment, also shared a statement.

“Porsha Williams Guobadia is a multi-hyphenate, and we are fortunate to collaborate and tap into her creativity and passion through this partnership,” Smith reportedly stated. “Our audience has supported and admired Porsha as she so authentically, hilariously, and vulnerably shared her life over the years, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome her back to the NBCU family.”

Social Media Reacts

Social media users have reacted to Williams’ announcement over on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Here’s What She Previously Explained When Speaking About Her Possible Return

According to Deadline, Williams joined ‘RHOA’ during its fifth season but left after season 13. In June 2023, the 42-year-old shared her thoughts on possibly returning to the reality show, per The Shade Room.

“They’ve got a lot of drama,” Williams said about the show’s most recent season while appearing on ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.’”Maybe I do need some fun.”

In July of that year, Williams elaborated further while speaking with Entertainment Tonight.

“I mean, listen, it’s so [good] to be missed. It would be bad if it’s brought up and you’re like, ‘No, she can stay where she is.’ I love that people want to see me. I love that people are still interested in my life and who I am,” she explained at the time. “I’ve never written it off, I’ve never talked down on the show. I love what the girls are doing. I love that the brand is still as strong as it was before and you just never know. I will say [that] I’ll never say ‘never.’”

Meanwhile, as Williams makes her way back on the ‘RHOA,’ fellow castmate Kandi Burruss recently announced her departure.
