Wilson Bethel is set to reprise his role as Benjamin Poindexter aka Bullseye from Netflix’s Daredevil Season 3 in Daredevil: Born Again. This news was first reported by ComicBook, but they don’t know how big his role in the series will be. They just say that he “will, in fact, appear.”
I liked how Bullseye was handled in the Daredevil series and I honestly didn’t think we would ever see that version of the character again, so his inclusion in Born Again comes as a surprise. It will be interesting to see how the creative team ends up handling the character as they continue Daredevil’s story.
Daredevil: Born Again is currently being developed by directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who worked on both Moon Knight and Loki. Dario Scardapane, who worked on Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan as well as Netflix’s Marvel show The Punisher, is the showrunner for the series.
Charlie Cox will return to the role of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil in the series, and he’ll be joined by Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher, and Sandrine Holt as Vanessa Fisk. It also includes Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Nikki M. James, Michael Gaston, Arty Froushan, and Clark Johnson in undisclosed roles.
