Porsha Williams claims her estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, changed the locks on their Atlanta home after she filed for divorce last month after less than two years of marriage.
Per court documents obtain by Radar Online, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star requested an emergency hearing after the Nigerian entrepreneur allegedly changed the garage code and door locks on their marital home in a “vindictive and retaliatory” move for her wanting a divorce.
Guobadia was in Dubai when he allegedly had Porsha Williams locked out of their Georgia house.
According to the RHOA star, she and Guobadia have lived in the home since before their wedding on November 25, 2022. The 42-year-old also claimed that they signed a prenup on November 11, 2022, which was “drafted by [Guobadia’s] counsel.”
The prenup reportedly dictated that in the event of a divorce, Guobadia would vacate the home within 30 days of the filing. Porsha Williams filed for divorce on February 22, 2024 which means Guobadia should have vacated the property by March 22.
Instead, the Bravoleb says Guobadia requested 10 additional days, which Porsha Williams and her legal team denied.
Then on March 21, Porsha learned that Guobadia “disabled her access to the gate of the Marital Residence, effectively blocking her ability to access her own residence.”
This filing from Porsha comes after Page Six reported that Guobadia allegedly had to call the police to his and Porsha’s marital home after she showed up with an “armed gunman.”
Guobadia alleged that the RHOA star had “abandoned” their marital home, only to return with “a man visibly bearing a gun for reasons unknown to [Guobadia].”
“Since the filing of the instant divorce, Wife’s actions have been erratic, unstable, threatening and harassing to … the house staff, and the minor children,” the documents stated. Porsha has a 5-year-old daughter Pilar from a prior relationship while Guobadia has five children from previous marriages and relationships
“[Williams’] behavior has caused safety concerns, especially since there are minor children —[Guobadia’s] children — currently living in the Marital Residence.”
The Nigerian native also requested a restraining order against Porsha.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to return for season 16 in 2024.
