One People, the freshly minted Defected Records offshoot, has tapped AMÉMÉ for his latest Afro-house track, “Wild Animal.”
“Wild Animal” is as infectious as it is electrifying. The track beautifully captures the essence of the EDM.com Class of 2023 alumni’s sultry sound, instilling haunting grooves through its percussive elements.
With a driving beat that’ll keep everyone moving all night long, “Wild Animal” also beautifully speaks to the vision of One People. The label aims to “orchestrate a sonic celebration of Afrocentric music from a diverse and international roster of artists,” according to a statement issued at the time of its launch.
AMÉMÉ’s signature event series, One Tribe, recently made its return in London at the iconic fabric earlier this year followed by a new residency in Amsterdam at Shelter. He’s now set to bring the beloved series to Ibiza and Egypt next month.
