#Socialites, get into this! A mother and daughter in Texas were recently arrested for allegedly running an illegal butt injection operation.
The duo, Consuelo Dal Bo, 56, and her daughter Isabella Dal Bo, 18, were charged with unlawfully practicing medicine without a license. Consuelo Dal Bo also faced charges for knowingly delivering a controlled substance.
The arrests came after an undercover sting operation conducted by the Houston Police Department. The mother-daughter pair were offering butt injections for $6,000 at a short-term rental in Houston. Undercover officers posed as customers and met the duo at the rental location. During the sting, the women planned to inject a brown, unlabeled liquid into the buttocks of a customer, who turned out to be an undercover officer. Court records revealed that Consuelo Dal Bo also provided Xanax to the undercover officer to help them relax before the procedure.
Multiple bags of injectables and medical supplies were seized by officers during the operation. The Houston Police Department is urging anyone who may have been a victim of the illegal operation to come forward and provide information.

What’s In Illegal Butt Injection?
Illegal butt injections typically involve the injection of substances such as silicone, mineral oil, or other non-medical grade materials into the buttocks. These injections are dangerous and can lead to serious health complications, including infection, scarring, disfigurement, and even death.
Are There Safer Options To Enhance Your Butt?
Yes, there are safer procedures to enhance your butt that are performed by licensed and experienced plastic surgeons. Some common and safer procedures include:
Fat transfer (Brazilian butt lift): If done by the right doctor it can be done right and safe. This procedure involves removing fat from one area of the body through liposuction and injecting it into the buttocks to enhance volume and shape.
FDA approved Injectable fillers: Some injectable fillers, such as hyaluronic acid-based fillers, can be used to add volume and contour to the buttocks. These fillers are temporary and may need to be repeated over time. It’s important to thoroughly research and consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your goals, expectations, and any potential risks associated with any procedure.
This latest case highlights the dangers of seeking medical procedures from unlicensed individuals and the importance of verifying the credentials of healthcare providers — but also another reminder to always prioritize safety and legality when considering any medical treatment.
