Brittany Cartwright Reveals Jax “Puts [Her] Down” About Her Looks

Brittany Cartwright is seen opening up to her castmates on The Valley about how Jax Taylor treats her behind closed doors in a sneak peek at the April 16 episode of the Vanderpump Rules spinoff.

As Jax, 44, attempted to explain why he “liked” an Instagram comment from a fan who said he should’ve married his ex-girlfriend, Stassi Schroeder, 35, Brittany, also 35, revealed that her now-estranged spouse puts her down about her looks and doesn’t make her feel attractive.

“Last time I had sex was probably like a month and a half ago, at least,” Brittany tells castmates Kristen Doute, Michelle Lally, Janet Caperna, and Nia Booko in the sneak peek. “He needs to make me feel like I’m still attractive because I don’t feel like that right now.”

When her castmates ask if Brittany told him how she felt, she confirms, “He knows,” before tears start flowing.

“It’s been a whole thing. And then if he puts me down … I’m going to cry,” she shares.

Then, in a confessional, Brittany opens up further about Jax’s treatment.

“Jax can be really hard on me. He kind of puts me down a lot whether it’s about if I go out and have a girls’ night and don’t feel good the next day or the way I look,” she admits. “Your partner is supposed to lift you up and make you feel good about yourself and I feel like he’s doing the opposite to me right now and that really sucks because I’ve been in his corner through all the sh*t he put me through. I have always stuck up for him and I have always believed in him. I just feel like I don’t get the same thing in return.”

As for Jax “liking” an Instagram comment stating that he should have married Stassi, Jax explained himself in a comment after sharing a snippet from his and Brittany’s shared podcast, When Reality Hits With Jax and Brittany, on Thursday.

“Please say the rumor about you liking a comment about wishing you had married Stassi isn’t true?! You have the most amazing wife I hope you fight to keep her!” a fan had written.

“Yeah I was going through liking comments and I didn’t pay attention and accidentally hit like.. most definitely was a mistake,” Jax replied.

After Jax’s “like” began making the rounds on social media, Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast host Amanda Hirsch mentioned the diss on her show as Brittany appeared as a guest. And, after learning what her estranged husband had done, she shaded the behavior as “creepy” and “very weird.”

Scheana Shay, 38, also weighed in on the matter, telling host Andy Cohen, 55, on Tuesday’s Watch What Happens Live that Jax was an “idiot.”

“I think Jax has a lot of work to do on himself, and Brittany deserves to be treated better and treated with respect, and he hasn’t been doing that,” she stated.
