Stassi Schroeder shared her husband Beau Clark‘s “red flag” on Instagram as he celebrated his “birthday” last month.

Before confirming the upcoming publication of her latest book, You Can’t Have It All: The Basic B*tch Guide To Taking The Pressure Off, the Vanderpump Rules alum, 35, took to her Instagram Story, where she put Beau, 44, on blast.

“It’s actually tomorrow but Beau likes to tell people his birthday is March 17. And yes, I always thought that was a [red flag]. Lol,” Stassi wrote to her fans and followers, revealing that Beau celebrates his birthday on March 17, rather than his actual birthday on March 18.

After the image was shared on Reddit, fans seemed to rally around Beau, suggesting that he had simply changed the date in an effort to cash in on the St. Patrick’s Day holiday.

“I mean, red flag or genius way to get free drinks on St. Patrick’s Day?” one person asked. “I knew a guy in my early twenties whose birthday was the 16th, and he definitely got free drinks by saying his birthday was the 17th.”

“I feel like it’s a more mild red flag to be honest, he just wanted to be slightly cooler than he is,” noted another Reddit user.

“I don’t think it’s weird” agreed a third. “It’s just a way to lump your bday in with a party holiday. If people were always going out on the 17th when they were younger they prob wouldn’t want to go out on the 18th as well. Killing two birds with one stone.”

Someone else shared that Beau’s Italian roots may have impacted the decision.

“My late grandmother did this,” they wrote. “She emigrated from Russia 120 years ago to the US and picked an American holiday so that her birthday would be easily remembered. It was common in certain immigrant populations last century.”

In other Pump Rules news, Stassi officially confirmed the news of her new book with an Instagram post on April 18.

“This may ruffle some feathers and piss people off, but unpopular opinion, You Can’t Have It All… or at least not all at the same time,” she shared. “This isn’t a self-help book, this basically is my diary and I’m here to share where I’m at — deepest darkest secrets and all. I’m baring a lot of my soul and talking about some really dark things that I’ve never shared (don’t worry, it won’t be depressing though).”

According to Stassi, who shares daughter Hartford, 3, and son Messer, 7 months, with Beau, she mentally destroys herself if she’s not excelling in every single thing she does, including in her career, in parenting, and in her finances.

“The list never freaking ends and I’m officially tapped out. It’s impossible to operate at 100% in everything all at once,” she continued. “Maybe the key to happiness is just taking a little bit of the pressure off. I’m not saying give up, I’m just saying… it’s ok if you give your kid a cake pop for breakfast once in a while, it’s okay to get off the treadmill… it’s okay if you still don’t know what you want to do with your life. IT’S OKAY.”

You Can’t Have It All: The Basic B*tch Guide To Taking The Pressure Off can be preordered now and will be available for purchase on September 10, 2024.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
