Tom Schwartz spoke of his marriage to Katie Maloney and his relationship with his girlfriend, Kiana Carroll, on Wednesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
While also offering an update on Jo Wenberg, 37, explaining what he misses about Jax Taylor, 46, on The Valley, and reacting to Danny Booko‘s poor treatment of wife Nia Booko, 36, Tom revealed if he felt that Lala Kent, 35, and Scheana Shay, 41, would end their messy feud and confirmed the worst part about his marriage to Katie, 40.
“Me. I was the problem,” Tom, 43, admitted on the May 20 episode of WWHL.
Although Tom and Katie initially swapped weeks for their dogs after their 2022 divorce, Tom said they now live full-time with him but see their mom often.
“[Katie] comes and picks them up whenever she wants. Whenever she wants, she comes over. I love her boyfriend [Nick Martin]. She’s thriving,” he gushed.
As for whether Katie had met Kiana, 27, Tom shared, “She hasn’t met Kiana.”
Continuing on about Kiana in a game of rapid-fire questions, Tom said she was still traveling to New York City every week, admitted he’d be willing to move there for her, and described their age gap as “problematic.”
“I think it’s 16 [years]. What’s the rule? … [But] she is in charge. She is the boss,” he clarified.
Tom also revealed that Kiana “likes everyone” on The Valley cast.
Looking back on his past romance with Jo, Tom admitted to blocking her on “pretty much” all of his accounts.
“I haven’t talked to Jo in a long time. I blocked her on pretty much everything. But I gotta say, I got a soft spot for her, so I hope she’s thriving,” he stated. “I’m gonna give her a shoutout. I hope she’s doing really well.”
While many have celebrated Jax’s exit from The Valley, which came after his stints in rehab and shocking actions toward his almost-ex-wife, Brittany Cartwright, 37, Tom said there is something he misses.
“He’s like, the best gossip hound ever. He really is,” he noted.
Moving on to Danny and Nia’s marriage drama, Tom admitted it was “hard” watching him snap at Nia in San Diego and described Danny’s apology as “unacceptable.” He also shaded Danny for poking fun at Lala for being “triggered.”
“It was horrid,” he continued of Danny’s treatment of Nia. “He was being a real a-hole.”
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, after revealing he’d rather be stranded on an island with Tom Sandoval, 43, than Jax or James Kennedy, 34, because he’s “very resourceful,” Tom admitted to feeling that Lala’s friendship with Scheana was over for good.
“I’m friends with Scheana and [her husband, Brock Davies]. I love them, but you guys, it’s no joke. That is a very frosty, cold, icy feud. I don’t think it’s salvageable,” he stated.
