Kanye West’s Ex Julia Fox Reveals She’s Been Celibate For 2 Years

Julia Fox has recently revealed that it’s been two years since she last had sex. Fox made the revelation in her response to a seemingly controversial billboard post from popular dating app Bumble, adding that she’d “never been better” since commencing the celibacy journey.

The actress previously made headlines for her brief romance with controversial rapper Kanye West when he was going through a divorce from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. She revealed that during their romance, there “wasn’t any sex” between them and that the relationship left her “scarred.”

In a TikTok response, the “Uncut Gems” actress revealed that she’s been celibate for over two years and gushed about how good it feels for her.

Fox made the revelation when she responded to the controversial pictures of billboards published by the dating app Bumble that read, “A vow of celibacy is not the answer.”

The controversial billboard post garnered uproar from fans, who slammed Bumble for the kind of message they were sharing.

“Imagine pretending to be a dating app for women and launching a million-dollar ad campaign blaming women for a very normal reaction to men’s violence,” the caption over the video read.

In her response to the TikTok post, Fox wrote, “2.5 years of celibacy and never been better.”

Some fans also joined to voice their opposition to Bumble’s ad campaign, with one user writing, “Wow, Bumble really fumbled that one.” Another said, “It’s not a ‘vow of celibacy’! We’re just happy alone!”

Several fans couldn’t believe that the 34-year-old actress had been celibate that long, so they took to the comment section of her post to respond to her shocking revelation.

“Same! Truly have never been happy and more peaceful in body, mind, and spirit,” one fan shared. “It’s wild how men destroy our peace.”

Another fan said, “Right?? I feel like I finally have mental clarity.”

“I never knew Julia and I would have so much in common,” one person wrote.

Another user penned, “Gosh, [as] if I didn’t think you could give me another reason [to] admire you as much as I already do.”

Fox’s revelation comes after her brief but highly publicized relationship with rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West. The pair began dating in 2021 after the “Donda” rapper split from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

In an interview with The New York Times, she was asked about the details of her sexual experiences she discussed in her memoir “Down The Drain,” explaining that “one boyfriend” she didn’t have sex with is West.

Fox was asked why she didn’t detail anything about her sex life with West despite revealing other sexual encounters in her book.

“Because there, like, wasn’t any,” Fox replied. “It wasn’t really about that.”

Fox and West eventually split in February 2022 after the rapper went on social media threatening Kardashian’s boyfriend at the time, Pete Davidson.

“Julia and Kanye remain good friends and collaborators, but they are no longer together,” Fox’s rep told Page Six.

The actress recently opened up about the aftermath of her relationship with West and how it affected her.

In a conversation with Stellar Magazine, she lamented how her relationship with the “Vultures 1” rapper left her wounded and said that she wouldn’t make it a point to date another celebrity so openly.

“What I find happens so often in public relationships – at least what happened to me, and maybe I’m just scarred from it – is that you become known as that person’s girlfriend,” the 34-year-old actress said.

She went on, “And I just don’t want to uphold that. I want to be able to make it on my own. I don’t want anyone to be able to attribute my success to a man in my life.”

“If anything, men are an obstacle I have to get through. It has never helped me,” Fox added.

In an interview with InStyle, she decried that her relationship with West has brought on a label that she isn’t comfortable with, as she is constantly referred to as one of the rapper’s ex-girlfriends.

She disclosed that dating the “Donda” rapper “for a month,” and the attention that came with it has left a “sour taste in” her “mouth about dating anyone in this sphere.”

“I don’t ever want to just be known as someone’s girlfriend. I know I’m so much more than that. And I feel like that happens so much to women in this industry,” Fox stated.

She continued, “They’re only as good as their partner, or they can make a whole career off being some guy’s partner. But regardless, either way, it becomes their identity.”
