The drama is heating up in Potomac! The word on the street is that the RHOP cast is on the outs with Gizelle Bryan as they film season 9.
Production recently picked up for season nine of RHOP without several of the franchise’s mainstay cast members.
As fans know, Robyn Dixon, Candiace Dillard, and Nneka Ihim are returning for season nine.
This casting shakeup seems to have changed the franchise’s dynamics, especially for OG Gizelle Bryant, who is reportedly facing some trouble without her green-eyed bandit bestie, Robyn.
A new report claims that Gizelle recently kicked out some RHOP cast members from an event for not making her a priority.
Season nine of RHOP stars Gizelle, Karen Huger, Wendy Osefo, Ashley Darby, and Mia Thornton. Stacey Rush is also joining the cast as a full-time Housewife.
Keiarna Stewart, Jacqueline Blake, and Jassi Rideaux, who will appear as friends of the Housewives, round out the season nine cast.
TV Deets reports that Gizelle and Ashley recently hosted an event to honor Gizelle’s father. Donations for the event went to the National Brain Tumor Society.
It turns out Karen was hosting an event on the same day, meaning the Potomac Housewives had to choose whose event to attend.
According to sources, Mia, Stacey, and Jassi attended Karen’s event first and then Gizelle’s event, which didn’t sit well with the 53-year-old mom of three.
When the ladies showed up to her event, Gizelle asked them to leave. However, this isn’t the only issue Gizelle is facing.
TV Deets also reports that the new ladies in the cast don’t have the best opinion of Gizelle.
An insider said, “She had second chair last year, and it might be third chair this year.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac is expected to return for season 9 in early 2025.
