Disney Plus‘s new TV and movie releases for May 27 – June 2 2024 include Jim Henson Idea Man and a new episode of Doctor Who series 14.

Starting on May 31, Friday, Disney Plus subscribers can tune into the platform to check out both Jim Henson Idea Man and a new episode of the latest Doctor Who series.

Jim Henson Idea Man is a documentary movie that will offer viewers an in-depth look into the life and career of popular American puppeteer Jim Henson. He first gained popularity in the entertainment industry for his work on projects like Sesame Street and The Muppet Show.

The documentary, directed by Ron Howard, will feature archival footage of Jim Henson’s work. Along with this, it will also include interviews with notable entertainment personalities who had ties to Henson, such as Rita Moreno, Frank Oz, and Jennifer Connelly.

On the same day, a new Doctor Who series 14 episode “Dot and Bubble” will arrive on the platform. It stars Ncuti Gatwa of Sex Education fame as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as his companion, Ruby Sunday. In the show, the duo goes on numerous adventures spanning multiple historic time periods.

In addition to this, six episodes of Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted will also be released on Disney Plus this week. Unchartered is a documentary series in which popular chef Gordon Ramsay visits indigenous people across the globe to learn about their cuisine and culture.
