Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most awaited releases of 2024. The Prabhas-led film has created a buzz since its announcement. In the latest update, the makers introduced Bujji, a unique automobile that the lead character, Bhairava, will drive. Recently, Bujji was taken to Chennai for its promotions and has been garnering a lot of attention. However, director Nag Ashwin is currently seeking Elon Musk’s attention on this innovative vehicle.
For the unversed, Kalki 2898 AD has an ensemble cast. Besides Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone play crucial roles. Also, Kamal Haasan has an extended cameo, while Disha Patani will be featured in a supporting role. Vyjayanthi Movies is producing the film on a heavy budget, and its makers are leaving no stone unturned in its promotions.
Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin pens a special tweet for Elon Musk
Taking to their official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Gulte.com shared a video of Bujji in Chennai for the promotions of Kalki 2898 AD. The new car was driven through the streets of Chennai with high security. While fans are excited to see this innovative automobile, Nag Ashwin has a different wish. He tagged Elon Musk in his recent tweet, inviting him to drive the vehicle.
Nag Ashwin wrote, “Dear @elonmusk sir… We would love to invite you to see and drive our #Bujji… it’s a 6 ton beast, fully #madeinindia Fully Electric & an engineering feat… And I daresay it’ll make for a great photo-op with ur cybertruck (would be a sight to see them drive together).”
Kalki 2898 AD fans quickly assembled to support Nag Ashwin’s offer. They tagged the Tesla CEO, asking him to have a look at Bujji. In fact, one of the users wrote, “@elonmusk please look into this engineering feat by Indians.”
Kalki 2898 AD is slated to release in theaters worldwide on June 27, 2024.
