Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind Pushpa 2, released an official statement detailing the reasons for the delay. They cited pending shooting schedules and extensive post-production work as the primary factors. “We have been tirelessly working to complete the movie and release it on time. However, due to the remaining shoot and subsequent post-production work, we will not be releasing the film on August 15th, 2024,” the statement read.
Many speculate that another reason of the decision to postpone the release was the crowded Independence Day release schedule.
